Visibility Score vs. Rank - Visibility score is a percentage showing how often your brand appears in AI answers. Rank is your stack-ranked position relative to competitors. A 42% visibility score could mean rank #2 or rank #8 depending on competitor performance. Rank is the more reliable indicator of where you actually stand.
Citation Supply Chain - The chain of source pages that AI engines pull from when generating answers. Engines search, find sources, and cite them. Your brand can appear in answers either because your own domain is cited or because third-party content that mentions you is cited. The latter is valuable but fragile since you don't control those pages.
Topic vs. Prompt Level Analysis - Topic-level metrics are averages across all prompts within that topic. These averages can mask opposing trends, where one prompt is collapsing while another is climbing. Always drill into prompt-level data to see the real story.

Prompt volume numbers are directional. Use them to gauge order of magnitude (million-volume topic vs. ten-thousand-volume topic), not as the sole driver of priority. Business priority always comes first.
The weekly rhythm: One topic, one fix, once a week. Run the same scanning loop across different topics each week.
